”Today was the shooting of a commercial for some new brand in the shopping mall that is near the subway station downtown. Among the cast was this woman I have never seen before and I was stunned by her eyes as soon as I looked at her. She had cyan-blue eyes that were like Caribbean beaches and I stared at her as she walked by.
Soon after the events, some of the cast gathered to dine. Among them was a close friend that was supervising one of the events there. This one beautiful woman was among the ones who joined. Her hair was like gold and her smile was very shiny.
I somehow couldn’t take my eyes off of her as we all walked to the restaurant. She wasn’t a part of my set but she was acquainted with my friend, who asked her:
”Want to dine with us, M?” ”Aww sure!” She replied with a radiant smile.
Out of all seats, she decided to sit right in front of me at the table and collectively, the cast started talking about life and things in the modeling industry, what this season was looking like, etc. The conversation went on and everyone was entertained until it was time to go. We all left to the subway station and my friend together with the others split up and vanished between the pathways to the subway isles.
The conversation went on between me and this lady of the blue eyes, who to my surprise was going to the same isle as I was. She pulled a cigarette out of her small, black purse and offered me one. I took the cigarette and smoked it right there in an open area of that isle while I looked at her up and down discreetly.
”Maira.” she told me her name; ”Daniel, or Lion.” I told her mines.
The conversation went on and it was a simple, calm and pleasant one. Soon emerged a subway car and it had sped up until it stopped right in front of us, doors open.
”It shouldn’t be long until the next one.” I thought to myself and stayed in place enjoying the cigarette that she had given me.
Alas, she hurried inside of the train just before the doors shut and locked her in. I stayed in place, stunned by her eyes still, looking at her staring back at me from within the train behind the large glass panel that now divided us.
I asked her: ”Try to find me?” ”Yet how?!” She replied.
And both of us instantly knew then, that we would possibly never see each other again from that moment on.
My heart sunk while the subway slowly took off, yet I steadily stared at her eyes… …on the other end she was, looking steadily at mines.”
