Project Overview
Viana’s Mansion is a monumental, square-form estate designed as a Fortified Oasis of Creativity. This expansive project functions as a high-concept residential conjunct for four independent households. The perimeter is a continuous architectural loop that encloses a private central space, housing a specialized suite of artistic workshops, including professional music studios, photography suites, and piano hall.
Design Philosophy
The philosophy for Viana’s Mansion is: The Interior Within.
By turning the architectural gaze inward toward a central forest and pool courtyard, the design creates a total disconnection from the outside world. The goal was to build a self-sustaining ecosystem where professional labor (offices and studios) and private life (residential wings) coexist in perfect, symmetrical harmony.
Technical Achievement
- The Quadrangular Loop: A rigorous manual alignment of a massive 360-degree structure, ensuring that all four corners and wings maintain 100% mathematical symmetry despite the diverse functions of each interior zone.
- Integrated Biophilic Courtyard: A central “micro-climate” featuring a manually placed forest and multi-tier pool system, designed to serve as the primary visual and emotional anchor for every room in the estate.
- Multidisciplinary Studio Logic: A complex interior program that allocates specific, high-tech zones for music, photography, and digital arts, each manually sound-proofed and spatially optimized within the building’s outer ring.
