Daniel Viana Alencar(b. June 26, 1993 – Oranjestad, Aruba) is an international self-taught Abstract and architectural fine artist, certified polyglot acting professionally as a Medical Interpreter for U.S-based companies.
Lux Leonum is actively creating high-resolution original artworks with digital programs since the 2015’s, while his lyrical, musical and abstract works made with pen and paper go back to 2009.

Following a diverse professional history including the jewelry industry and high-stakes medical linguistics, Lux Leonum spent decades curating a massive private portfolio. By the age of 30, this hidden collection evolved into a public-facing career. Today, his portfolio consists of over 350 digital abstract paintings, 30 digital architectonic art concepts, More than 100 Aerial cinematography takes with drone, rendered in 4K/60 Resolution and sold, while artworks are served for free to the public, whereas the High-End 8K artwork paintings will be made available for purchase under commercial licenses in the end of 2026.

THE REALITY BEHIND THE ART
This site and all artworks within were forged by Lux Leonum through extreme perseverance against the systemic failures of three different countries and their respective governments:
A lack of family structure forced Daniel to leave the island of Aruba at age four, stripping him of his Aruban citizenship rights. Displaced to Brazil, he was denied citizenship by the Brazilian government, leaving him stateless, without a passport or valid ID until a successful court case through the Public Defense Office of São Paulo at age 20.
His digital art era was born directly from this geopolitical friction.
A 2014 trip to The Netherlands to fight for Dutch citizenship which was denied, birthed his first landscape art through structural photography.
A subsequent three-year battle in Aruba in 2016 was systematically ignored by governmental agencies, leading to years of homelessness and severe vulnerability.
A return to The Netherlands in 2024 however, resulted in a brief stay where he generated many of the 8K-Resolution landscape artworks that populate his current library today.
The adversity faced across Aruba, Brazil, and the Netherlands did not result in defeat;
it provided the raw fuel for the entire artistic ecosystem you see today.
